Democracy Makes Noise

Of course this has become old news in our beautiful city but many of my friends all around the globe should hear and see this as international coverage of the "Maple Spring" is catching up.
Every night at eight the good citizen of Montreal pulls out pots and a spoons and bangs to voice his anger towards the tuition increase and the recently added "Bill 78", to then unite with others on the streets and peacefully protest against Charest's attempt to silent the students.
But wait, students?
This has become more than a student protest, this has become a fight of every age group, professors, workers, lawyers, entire families move out on the streets- everyone who believes in democracy and fears for it in this province at this moment.
Democracy right now means disobedience and honestly, it is the most charming, loudest, colorful and enchanting civil disobedience I have ever seen.
Thanks to Adam Bemma for his sound recording and thanks to all these amazing people for not growing tired of marching and raising their voices!
